I originally didn't plan to write one of my little stories for this shoot, (cause ALL my shoots end up having stories), and just let the pictures speak for themselves. Then I realized that there are some pictures here that look like duplicates, like I couldn't make my mind up. And that would be a fair assumption.
While photographing Pascale I think I might have developed a crush on her!. For the life of me I couldn't sort through and eliminate the good pictures from the not so good pictures. I liked them all! So I just gave into the feelings this muse was causing in me and did what my heart told me.

I wanted to set up a fill light but this was shot at a club and I was lucky to get my main light and backdrop.

Risque Cecilia (Blue Strap Dress) 3

Cecilia has a pretty modest wardrobe, nothing too risque, just right and compliant.

All of that changed however when her pop wound up in the hospital, resulting in her feeling down and depressed.

So like her counterpart, she ventured into the great unknown and went for a risque look in the form of a blue one strap mini dress, complete with black Kayser stockings and her trademark heels.

For those who are curious on what was used in this shoot:

* L'oreal Colour Riche "Plum Beguiling" lipstick (Code: 722)
* L'oreal Wear Infinite "Lemon Chiffon" eye shadow
* L'oreal Bare Naturale "Soft Ivory" Foundation Mineral Power (Code: 408)
* L'oreal Bare Naturale "Defining Bronze" Mineral Eyeliner (Code: 809)
* Maybelline Lash Stiletto Brownish Black Waterproof Mascara
* L'oreal Wishful Pinking Nail Polish (Code: 260)

DISCLAIMER: The character and name are fictional works based on myself, any similarity to any person living or dead is merely coincidental.

WARNING: If you don't like seeing these sort of pictures, then it might be wise to leave this page.

But very recently, Cecilia has been down in the dumps as they say.

So after taking the plunge the first time with her blue strap mini dress, she decided to add on some black fishnet stockings!

This morning well known Australian fashion model, Miranda Kerr, joined Qantas and David Jones execs to help promote their new branded credit card. They are hoping the public snap up their credit card at a time when many Australians are not in such a great position to endure even more credit pressure. Obviously Ms Kerr's financial position is different from many Australians so good luck to her and the top brass.

SYDNEY: Thursday 30 August 2012. Two of Australia’s most iconic brands, David Jones and Qantas, have partnered to enable Australian shoppers to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points as an additional rewards option on the David Jones American Express Card.

From tomorrow (Friday 31 August 2012), all David Jones American Express Cardmembers will have the choice of converting their Reward Points to points in either the American Express Membership Rewards Program or the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.

David Jones CEO, Mr Paul Zahra says, “David Jones and Qantas are both recognised as premium Australian brands with a strong heritage of service, which creates a natural affinity across our different business platforms.

“With American Express, this is a fantastic opportunity for David Jones to enhance our customer experience and provide new and rewarding opportunities for our David Jones American Express Cardmembers.

“We welcome Qantas as the newest addition to the portfolio of premium Australian brands that customers will find at David Jones and look forward to a successful – and rewarding – partnership.”

CEO Qantas Loyalty, Ms Lesley Grant says, “We are delighted to be launching our new alliance with David Jones and to further strengthen our long term partnership with American Express.

Qantas and David Jones share similar philosophies, including a strong commitment to customer service and both organisations take great pride in offering high quality products at great value.”

“We look forward to offering David Jones customers a world of options in terms of redeeming their points, including Reward flights across the Qantas domestic and global networks.”

From tomorrow (Friday 31 August, 2012), existing David Jones American Express Cardmembers can elect to choose the new Qantas Frequent Flyer Reward option by simply calling 1300 36 89 89.

Miranda Kerr (one of the Qantas Global Ambassadors)

We're proud to welcome Miranda Kerr onboard as our latest Qantas Global Ambassador. We look forward to this exciting partnership.

Miranda Kerr grew up in Gunnedah, before winning a modelling competition in 1997. Since then, Miranda has gone on to become one of the most recognisable faces worldwide, gracing countless runways and featuring in high profile campaigns.

In 2008, Miranda was named as Fashion Ambassador for Australian department store, David Jones. With the support of this partnership, Miranda developed KORA, an organic skin care range.

Miranda's passion for sustainable living was further evident in 2011, when she acted as Global Ambassador for Earth Hour.

Gottlieb, William P., 1917-, photographer.

[Portrait of Sam Donahue and Hep, Aquarium, New York, N.Y., ca. Dec. 1946]

1 negative : b&w ; 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.

Caption from Down Beat: Probably no dance band ever has played to so many empty tables consistently as the Sam Donahue ork during the recent double booking with Lionel Hampton at the Aquarium. The operators decreed that Sam should play afternoons, and the place isn't open in the afternoon! A single customer, John Sorenson, who just got off a boat from Denmark, wandered in by mistake one day and was served by the entire skeleton staff of three waiters, a cashier, head waiter, cook and busboy. In one of these staff photos by got, Sam and the band are seen playing to an attentive audience, consisting of one cat, Hep. In the other Stan Kenton keeps lonely Sam company, while Nick Callonus, a waiter, stands ready to bring another drink.

The photographer really had it in for that poor model on the right. First off, she appears to be swathed in Scarlett O'Hara's drapes. Second, her chesticular region looks decidedly asymmetrical.
