Just arrived yesterday. 100% cotton. Was "natural", redyed dark brown Rit.
If it looks a bit purple your screen is good, because it does in real life look like that. My T61 laptop certainly loses it, but my Dell all purpose DVD/computer screen/monitor captures it precisely.
